My time in Ghana made me reflect on my own attitude towards life. The locals' ability to laugh and live a simple life is something I feel has been forgotten by the western world. The mood along the coast of Ghana is almost like you are on an island. The nature, the attitude of people, the food and the atmosphere make you feel like you are far away in the middle of the ocean. It is very hot and humid and the air is always filled with strong smells of smoke, spices and fish.
