We are on the same trip, yet journeying different roads. Another emotion is linked to each image of nature, each conversation, every hotel room. We find silence when driving the car. It gives our minds the freedom we need to make this trip our own, even though we’re always together. Along the road the ordinary American and astounding landscapes create new meaning across our minds. One fell in love with America; the Land of Possibility, the other found warmth in its Nature. As the Chevrolet protects us from disturbance, our thoughts flow separately into harmony. There is nothing else.

Catherine Lemblé received her Master’s Degree in Photography at Luca School of Arts, Brussels in 2013. She had her first solo exhibition at Mint Gallery, Ghent in 2016. She is currently working on her first photo book. Mountains and solitary landscapes are a continuous thread throughout her work, as she searches for the symphony between nature and its inhabitants.

Tiny became a photograph through her personal experiments with several analogue cameras. She shoots for Belgian magazine Subbacultcha, and creates the photographic image of Belgian fashion store Shelter, where she is manager and buyer.
