Wuliwya; Mborívia; Puliwya, Bolivia. You can name it whatever you want, but it always means 'breathless'. Both metaphorically and literally. As unbearable landscapes overflow your retina, Bolivians make a living out of scouring the ground: from salt and copper to platinum and palladium. A land, rich in everything but oxygen, that generously, sensually shows your lens all of its colors. Mountains unfolding under your feet, lakes emerging to reflect your delight on its surface. Whenever I remember my days there, it still takes my breath away.
