Waves on Mars?

A short film about a month-long sailing trip

« Nasa confirms the discovery of liquid water on the planet Mars » said the news in the fall of 2015.

The 28-year-old Director Foster Huntington followed the journey of Trevor Gordon, Spencer Gordon and Landon Smith on a trip in search of waves on the Red Planet. « Actually, it’s a short film about a month-long sailing trip, but it’s more fun if we pretend. » says Huntington. Known for quitting his job and realizing childhood dreams, as living in his custom used van and building treehouses in Oregon, the American filmmaker and outdoorsman entrepreneur makes life feel a bit more sweet.

Fishing, surfing, bodysurfing, reading, cooking, swimming, spearfishing; these guys are getting really good at living the dream. Through an epic tale, the 14 minutes-long film highlights 21th century nomads, with a background music from « Future Islands » and « Matthew Emmons » sounding like an ode to UFO.

Watch the film and discover if the four guys crew finally found waves on Mars.
