Off the Road

A coffee-table book built on the definition of wanderlust from our friends at Gestalten

More and more of us are turning to the great outdoors for a touch of adventure. In February 2014, Berlin-based publisher Gestalten released The Outsiders, capturing the spirit of adventure. Through modern images of unconventional globetrotters, today’s smartly successful outdoor and lifestyle entrepreneurs, and some of the most influential movers and shakers in the modern outdoor industry,  the book documented new outdoor creativity.

Recently, Gestalten introduced Off The Road, a new book built on the definition of wanderlust; a collection of outdoor adventures. Showcasing globetrotters from around the world, as well as their their homes on wheels, trusted cars, campers, and 4x4s, Off the Road explores the world through the images of “a new generation of vagabonds who are choosing to leave the 9-to_5 workday in favor of a life on the go.” According to the Field Mag, “through 256 full color pages, Off the Road makes a lasting impression with tales of uniquely-driven individuals undertaking unconventional adventures, from riding a motorcycle from Florida to Alaska to exploring South America in a decades old Benz.”
