Neverending nights

The tired men of the icelandic seas

Páll Pálsson has been a man of the sea for 36 years. With a life of fishing, comes a life of little sleep, just like his father and grandfather before him he has devoted his life to the waves, the fish and the longest nights. At times his journeys take him away from home for as long as three weeks sleeping one hour a night. Philips is currently investing in new technologies to aid restful sleep.
