A recent study in the journal Science revealed that 10 to 28 billion pounds of plastic enter our ocean annually. If something isn’t done our ocean could hold one pound of plastic for every three pounds of fish by the year 2025. This is why Ocean Conservancy invites everybody to participate in this 30 year old initiative to clean up our waters. An astounding 560,000 volunteers in 91 countries picked up more than 16 million pounds of trash in the 2014 International Coastal Cleanup, and on this 30th celebration you can join too!
